Share The Gospel With Non-Believers
It is important to know God’s plan for His people and then to share
it with others as you build relationships with them. Sharing your faith
is something that God wants you as a believer to do. Maybe you are
afraid to share your faith, or perhaps you are nervous about what to
say. The apostle Paul was not eloquent, but God used him because he was
dependent on the Holy Spirit to guide him. God does not call the
equipped, He equips the called, and as a Christian you are called to
share what Christ has done. Some of Christ’s last words on earth were,
“Go and make disciples of all nations.” Sharing your faith is not just a
suggestion; it is a command, and God is with you when you obey Him.
Scripture:
2 Corinthians 5:20
"Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an
appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to
God."
Romans 10:13
"Whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved."
Matthew 28:19
"Therefore
go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."
Details:
- Live a Godly lifestyle. Non-believers often look at Christians as hypocritical.
- You need to be the light that they may see your good deeds.
- Pray for those with whom you interact. If you cannot think of anyone
who is not a Christian, pray for God to place someone in your life who
needs Him.
- Read Scripture daily and go to church. These things should not be done for attention but to help you grow in your faith.
- Get involved in the community.
- Get to know your neighbors, co-workers, and others who may not be a Christian.
- Share your faith in these suggested ways. Tell them about God's plan for your life - John 3:16.
Tell them about how all are sinners and separated from God - Romans 3:23. - Tell them about the cross. God’s love bridges the gap of separation
between you and Him. When Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from
the grave, He paid the penalty for your sins - 1 Peter 2:24.
- Invite them to accept Christ’s free gift of salvation - Matthew 28:19.
