Thrive Pathway Activity 21

Memorize and Understand Romans 10: 9-10

Definitions:

Memorizing scripture is a simple way of committing yourself to know what God’s plan is for you. This is a key scripture that helps you understand what it means to be saved. "Confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." What a marvelous thing! So simple, yet so profound. Jesus has done everything for you. Not one thing was left undone by Him; there is nothing left to do except to celebrate this new life offered through the Son of God. It is as simple as that!

Scripture:

Romans 10:9-10
“That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.”
