Fill A Significant Role In Your Grow Group
One of the key ways Southcliff encourages you to thrive in your
relationship with Christ is through being a part of a Grow Group. The
personal relationships which feature encouragement, spiritual
challenges, scriptural learning, and prayer are not only important for
you but also for others. Having an effective and thriving Grow Group is
best done when each group member helps and supports the group function.
Scripture:
Romans 12:4-5
"For
just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do
not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one
body, and each member belongs to all the others.”
Details:
Consider
leading a group yourself, thereby providing more opportunities for
people to find a group of which to be a part. Pray about a role you can
take or help out with within your Grow Group. Consider and pray about
filling one of the following positions:
- Prayer coordinator - Help keep members up to date on prayers within your group.
- Special event coordinator - Help plan and organize events and activities for your group.
- Serving coordinator - Help members identify and locate a ministry in
which to serve and/or opportunities for serving in special events.
- Facilitate discussion and learning in your group.
