2025 Deacon Nomination
Members of Southcliff Baptist Church are asked to nominate qualified men for consideration to the office of "deacon."
Simply stated, the qualification for deacons are:
"The
church shall seek men who are full of The Holy Spirit and wisdom, who
are honorable servants of God, and who seek to confirm their lives to
the teaching of the New Testament as set forth in 1 Timothy 3:8-13."
A
deacon examination committee has been elected by the deacon body. They
will review and examine the nominations and will make their
recommendations to the deacon body.
March 30, 2025 is the last day Deacons are taking nominations for consideration.
