What are Grow Courses?

We offer a variety of courses here at Southcliff that deal with specific topics that help believers in Christ to grow deeper in their relationship with Christ and with others.  These short-term classes have a start date and end date and normally follow the school calendar.

Financial Peace University

Take control of your money with Financial Peace University! This nine-lesson class uses biblical wisdom and common sense to help you tackle budgeting, pay off debt, and make your money work for you!

Starts January 7, 2026 at 6:30 PM.

Embrace Grace

We are launching a new ministry/small group called Embrace Grace. This group provides emotional, practical, and spiritual support for single, young pregnant women who find themselves in an unexpected pregnancy. The primary goal of Embrace Grace is to empower the church to be a safe and nonjudgmental place for these young women to run to when they find out they are pregnant, instead of the last place they are welcomed because of shame and guilt. It is a 12-week program that teaches them about God's love and grace, and at the end we will give them a baby shower to honor them for choosing life and to help provide for their baby’s needs.

Thursday Morning Bible Study

Thursdays, Winter/Spring Session begins January 8, 2025 on the campus of Southcliff .

9:00 AM Refreshments, fellowship and prayer.
9:30 AM Ladies will break into 2 groups.  See options below...

"Genesis" by James Vernon McGee, facilitated by Sue Phillips in E113 on campus.

OR

"Sermon on the Mount" by Jen Wilkin, facilitated by Makayla Weakley & Leslie Bradley in Fellowship Hall on campus.  This study will begin on Thursday, January 8, 2025.  The cost of the study guide is $25 available for purchase in Grow Center.
