WHAT IS WORSHIP
Jesus’ words to us form the basis for our worship. “Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is
one Lord; and you shall love the Lord, your God with all your heart and with all your
soul, and with all your mind and with all your strength. And the second commandment is this, that you shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment
greater than these.” Mark 12:29-31
As believers we are commanded to worship together with a local body of believers: “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting
together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the
Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25
Worshiping together should be a result of our worshiping the Lord with all our lives.
Our worship services are designed to allow you to declare God as your highest value with His church in worship that is initiated by Him, based on and informed by His Word, led by His Spirit, with access to Him through
Jesus Christ.
Our goal is to give you the opportunity to glorify God by expressing your thanksgiving, praise, adoration, confession, sacrifice, surrender, giving, and requests to God as an active participant in a variety of ways including
(but not limited to) hearing His Word, praying, singing, and responding to His message through obedience. By worshiping together, we encourage and teach people of all backgrounds and generations.
