Navy Chaplain Trevor Carpenter

It was preaching through the book of Acts when the Holy Spirit called Trev Carpenter to a unique “audible” in ministry. After several years in pastoral ministry, the Lord called Trev to receive a commission with the U.S. Navy as a Chaplain. Six months after Officer Development School (ODS), Trev was on a ship, deployed to the Middle East. He would serve at sea on the USS STOUT (DDG 55), the USS NITZE (DDG 94), the USS Porter (DDG 78), and the USS COLE (DDG 67). He then served as the Battalion Chaplain for the Combat Logistics Battalion of the 3 Marines (FMF Qualified), as well as serve as Chaplain for the USMC School of Infantry at Camp Pendleton. He is currently the Regimental Chaplain for the 1st Naval Construction Regiment (The “Sea Bees”) at Port Hueneme, California. In the civilian sector, Trevor is the Vice President of Culture and Chaplaincy at Ohana Pacific Health.

Trev is married to Danyel (25 years and counting!!!), and lives in Kaneohe, Oahu with their two daughters, Hope and Liberty.

Trevor Carpenter will be our guest speaker to address those who join us for worship during the morning of November 12 & address the veterans at the luncheon. Back in 2019 Lifeway invited Trevor to speak towards the tools used in the armed forces to help disciple fellow soldiers to live victoriously & grow in their faith. Trevor cares about people & desires to see them thrive in Christ.
