Southcliff: The Story of Joy” as a free gift to our community.
Pick up at “Christmas at Southcliff” offering
envelope at the information center or in the pews.. You can make a financial gift through December 10. These funds

production. You may also give online at southcliff.com/give.
Angel Tree
November 26 - December 10
You can be a Christmas blessing to one of the
1.7 million children in the U.S. that will celebrate Christmas with a parent in
prison.
Angel
Tree is a ministry of Prison Fellowship, which was founded by Chuck Colson. Angel Tree began when a former inmate, Mary Kay Beard, realized that many children of
inmates spend Christmas away from their moms and dads. She knew that the holidays can be a sad time
for these boys and girls.
You
can visit our “Angel Tree” at the Share Engagement Center and pick up a “wish
list” to provide presents for children of incarcerated parents. You then shop for these gifts, wrap them, and
bring them to Southcliff by Sunday, Dec. 10.
You
can volunteer to help sort the gifts on Monday, December 11, from 6:30 - 8:00 PM (Fellowship Hall).
Volunteers
are also needed to distribute gifts to parents on Friday, Dec. 15 (3:00 – 5:00
PM) or Sunday, Dec. 17 in the Fellowship Hall. Contact Nathan or Terri Benke if you
have any questions about Angel Tree.
Week of Prayer for International
Missions
December 3-10
This year’s Week of Prayer for
International Missions will be observed Dec. 3-10. In this season, Southern
Baptists are encouraged to consider the power of “Impacting Lostness Together.”
During this year’s SBC annual meeting,
IMB President Paul Chitwood emphasized the importance of working together. “Your
IMB missionaries are addressing the world’s greatest problem with the only
solution, God’s solution — the gospel. But they need your prayers, your
support, your continued generosity and more workers in the harvest,” he said.
