Gather Moms
Southcliff has partnered with Gather Moms Groups, that is based out of Rightnow Media.
Gather Moms Mission: Moms, we need each other. We don’t want you to mom alone. Our mission is to help you connect to other moms who get you, who know your joys and your struggles, and who can offer support and encouragement.
Gather Moms Story: In 2016, Jenny Worsham sent her oldest off to kindergarten and
started meeting other kinder moms who were overwhelmed and needed
support. Jenny knew what that was like and how crucial community had
been to her, so she started a mom’s group out of her home. They laughed,
shared where they needed helps and talked about how to intentionally
teach family values in their one hour gathering each month.
Around
the same time, Kate and Rebecca felt called to teach and encourage
moms. As they did that, a vision stirred in Rebecca to bring moms
together for one big night of fun and encouragement.
These three
friends and neighbors combined their unified heart for moms and created
Gather. The Gather Moms event came out of that vision and in 2017, at
the first event, over 30 Gather Moms Groups started. Several years
later, the vision to connect moms now includes a multitude of resources,
groups meeting all over the world.
Moms of all stages in life are invited to join us
Southcliff's women's ministry "At the Table" invites moms of all stages in life to join us this summer for as we kick off our summer on June 14 at 11 AM.
Mom's, Let's Talk: Moms, we know that you are already talking to your kids a lot,
but are you talking to them about the topics they need to hear the most?
How do you know what to say, and when and how to say it?
Presented by Gather Moms, Moms, Let’s Talk is a faith-based study presenting help for some of the most
challenging conversations moms are up against. Topics that are very
timely for our current culture such as gender identity, screens,
emotions, trauma, and faith. We know that these can be difficult and
sensitive to discuss, so we want to equip you to navigate these topics
with wisdom, love, and grace.
