Preschoolers are no exception! Your first visit to Discovery Lane is
sure to have your children asking to come back again!
Preschool Hosts and Greeters
From any main entrance, our greeters will be glad to point you in the
direction of Preschool Hall, or you may follow the posted signs.
Preschool Hosts will greet you as you enter the glass doors. You will be
asked to complete a guest form for your child, listing any special care
needs or allergies. You will be given a security tag and then be
accompanied to the appropriate classroom for your child. There you will
meet your child’s teacher and go over any special instructions. Please
label all items with your child’s name (bottles, sippy cups, diaper bag,
etc.). We ask that parents remain in the hallway and not enter the
classroom. This eliminates confusion and increases security.
Worship Service
If you are needed during while your child is under our care, your
security number from your child’s nametag will be just below the large
screens in the Worship Center. If you are attending a Grow Group, one of
our hosts will come to your classroom.
While you are in the worship
service or Grow Group, your child will be having their own worship
experience! Our babies are rocked and loved by some of our most faithful
volunteers! Every week they will see the same faces that sing to them,
pray for them, and share the very beginnings of the gospel message.
Classrooms and Activities
Our walkers learn more basic truths about God through play. As the
volunteers play with our children, they are able to build the foundation
that will shape your child’s life. Children ages 2-4 participate in a
large group/small group setting. The children will begin in their age
appropriate classroom, and then come out to large group for a time of
singing, dancing and interactive Bible stories! After large group, they
go back to their classroom and for crafts and snacks, and repeat the
information from the Bible story.
After the service, please come to your child’s classroom with your
security tag in hand. Once the numbers are verified to match, your child
will be released to you.
When you come for your second visit, your child’s security tag will
be printed from the computer check-in station. The host will be glad to
assist you with the easy-to-use computer check-in process.
