Children's ministry (K-4th)

We want to help families guide their children into a thriving relationship with Christ

Three Things You Will Want to Know About Kid Connection

  • First, God wants each of us to have a deep and growing relationship with Him, regardless of how old we are
  • Second, finding out about who God is should be fun.
  • Third, starting and growing a relationship with God is best done with friends.

Sunday morning for Kindergarten – 4th graders is designed with the above three things in mind. We get together with friends (9:20 or 11:00 AM) to grow our relationship with God in really fun ways. All of this is done in a safe and secure place with adults who really care about your child. We start our Sunday morning times off with the Fun Zone. For the first 20 minutes, we meet old friends and make new ones while playing games and just having a good time. Your child won’t want to miss a minute in the  Fun Zone. This is followed by our Large Group Time where we sing songs to God, talk with Him in prayer, and learn from the Bible in some really interesting and exciting ways. Whether your child is just starting to learn about God or your child has a growing relationship with Him, this fun and engaging time will help them to understand more about this God who loves them so much.

Wednesday Night Grow Groups for Kids  - On Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:45 PM we come together to take what we learned on Sunday morning and apply it to our lives. In age graded groups and with fun games and activities, Bible memory we learn to live out our faith in our everyday lives.

Summer events for Children's Ministry include, Game Days in local parks, Share Day Missions, and Children's Camp (completed 3rd-6th grades).

We know you might have questions about all that is going on for Kids at Southcliff, so feel free to contact Roger Ellis, Children’s Minister for more details at or 817-938-0378.
