Southcliff Raises over $41,000 for Global Missions
Southcliff Raises over $41,000 for Global Missions — February 15th
by Stu Cocanougher, Share Pastor
In the 1800s, a missionary named Charlotte “Lottie” Moon wrote letters from China urging American churches to fund more overseas workers. After Lottie’s death on the mission field, an offering was started in her name. The offering was established to empower international missions efforts for Southern Baptists. Because of the gifts given to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, International Mission Board (IMB) missionaries can take the gospel to unreached peoples around the world. Every dollar you give makes a difference, because 100% of the money collected goes to the work of reaching every nation.
$41,939 was collected at Southcliff for Lottie Moon Offering between February 1, 2018 through January 31, 2019. This amount was almost $2,000 above our goal.
Thank you for your generosity in giving to mission efforts all over the world. If you would like to find out more the International Mission Board, visit www.imb.org .
