Short term Serve opportunities are available in a number of areas. A wide array of skills and abilities are necessary to accomplish each of these events. These and more are available. Check out the entire list. We have a place for you.
Christmas Production
Hundreds of volunteers are needed for this special presentation for the church and community. Musicians, vocalists, set design, stage hands, actors, as well as video, sound and lighting technicians assist with this project.
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
Each summer Southcliff opens our doors to the children of the community. Teachers, helpers, guides, registration, food prep, game leaders, production leaders, and group leaders are needed. Pre-event assistance is needed in the areas of set design, organization, and promotion.
Leadership Meetings
A number of banquets or weekend leadership events are held each year. Decoration, food service, food preparation, production, and advertising team help create a positive atmosphere for training and spiritual growth.
Women’s Ministry Main Events
Two events each year are intended to connect, inspire, and involve women at Southcliff. Decorating, food service, registration, and table hosts are all needed.
Membership Class
Hosts and Hostesses seek to create an atmosphere of hospitality for adults attending the membership class. In addition to greeting, hosts(ess) will assist with set up, and food service. The class is held approximately 4 times a year.
Camps and Retreats
Age group camps and retreats need counselors, musicians, dramatists, and Bible study and recreation leaders. Transportation is always a need.
