Every week our members use their musical talents to glorify God. Here are a few of our current choices. Check out the complete list of available positions.
Choir
The Adult Choir sings weekly in the Sunday morning worship services and special programs. They minister in song with a variety of music styles, ranging from gospel to soul and country to classic. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays at 7pm in the Music Suite. Children's programming runs concurrently.
Band
Several bands provide music in our Worship, Children, youth and college gatherings each week. Instrumentalists and vocalists are needed. Audition is required. Ability to read music a plus. Weekly rehearsals are mandatory.
Orchestra
The Southcliff orchestra has musicians of all skill levels. You will need to have had training on a specific instrument and provide your own. Our Orchestra rehearses on Wednesdays at 7pm in the Music Suite. They perform weekly in our Sunday morning worship services and for seasonal events. Members of the orchestra come from a variety of backgrounds ranging from professional musicians to people from all walks of life who enjoy playing an instrument.
Drama Team
Our Drama Team ministers periodically in our worship services and for special events. Open auditions are held throughout the year. The group involves participation from all age groups and performs a variety of scripts, including dramas written by members of Southcliff.
Saints Ministry Choir
Saints ministry choir , Our senior adult choir (60yrs. and up) Occassionally the group sings on Sundays, but the focus of their musical ministry is toward retirement facilities and nursing homes. They meet Fall and Spring on Mondays for lunch at 11:30am and rehearsal at 12:30pm.
Handbell Choir
The Handbell Choir is made up of a select group of adults who play for services, as well as participate in seasonal events. Openings vary.
