If you enjoy guiding Bible study, caring for a small group or administration, this is the place for you. These are the serve opportunities for Adult and College groups. Check out the children and youth systems for working with elementary or middle and high school students.
Director
The Director is a member of Southcliff Baptist Church who faithfully attends the class (1 Cor. 4:2) and seeks to live in a way to demonstrate spiritual growth and maturity (Eph. 4:1). The Director is responsible to the Grow Pastor and all new Director will require staff approval. The Teacher and Director will work as a team to make sure the class is functioning completely. Teacher
The Teacher is a member of Southcliff Baptist Church who faithfully attends the Grow Group (1 Cor 4:2) and seeks to live in a way to demonstrate spiritualgrowth and maturity (Eph 4:1). The teacher is responsible to the Grow Pastor and all new teachers require staff
approval.
Apprentice Teacher
The Apprentice Teacher assists the Teacher and provides as a standing substitute when the Teacher is absent.
Care Group Coordinator
The Care Groups Coordinator is responsible for making sure that people don’t fall through the cracks by establishing and monitoring Care Groups. Each Care Group Coordinator oversees the leaders of each care group by providing them support and encouragement. This person works with the Director.
Care Group Leader
The Care Group Leader is one of the most important ministry positions in a Grow Group. He or she works with the Care Group Coordinator (or Director if the class does not have a Care Group Coordinator). The Care Group Leader is responsible for contacting, ministering to, and cultivating friendships with a maximum of 10 class members.
Outreach Coordinator
The Outreach Coordinator is responsible for leading the class effort to reach people for Jesus. He or she works with the Director.
College Group Leader
Lead a weekly group (gender specific) meeting focusing on Bible study, outreach, and personal accountability.
