Journey Groups

What are Journey Groups?
Everyone is on a spiritual journey. The path to knowing and walking with God is best traveled with others. Journey Groups exist to promote the development of significant Christian relationships centered on the study of God’s Word. Journey Groups use the weekly sermon and discussion guides as a starting point to share spiritual insights, learn biblical truth, and experience real life together.
How Can I get Involved in a Journey Group?
Because the life can impact the speed, difficulty, and direction of our journey we believe it is imperative for us to invite partner with others as we experience our spiritual journey. You can be part of a Journey Group in three ways. Simply join a group by request on-line, attend an on-campus journey group (Sunday am and pm or Wednesday nights), or start your own.
Can I Start a Journey Group?
Journey groups can be as few a two people meeting for coffee to discuss the group questions or as many as a dozen people gathered in a home sharing a meal and spiritual conversation. We encourage you to find a friend or two and share your responses, reactions, or revelations about the ideas and principles presented in the weekly sermon. Should you choose to start a new group resources will be made available. You can register your group by e-mailing Journey@Southcliff.com
The Journey Group Tool Box
The Journey Group Toolbox is where you will find information every week for each sermon that will give you the tools you need to lead your Journey Group. Tools such as audio, video, sermon notes, and guiding questions are available to everyone. From these tools, you will to be able to lead others in fellowship and discipleship by simply using the sermon from Sunday.
